**Basic course, large sailboat — 4 days in the Stockholm Archipelago

Learn to sail a real sea cruiser during four intense days in the Stockholm archipelago. You will practice maneuvering, navigation and safety in real conditions — with an experienced instructor on board and the archipelago as a classroom.

We sail from Viggbyholm in Täby out towards the outer archipelago. Along the way, you'll gain practical experience that actually sits -- not just theory.

The course suits you as:

  • Want to combine education with an active archipelago experience

Good to know We start from Viggbyholm, Täby. Free on-site parking. The nearest station is Näsbypark with Roslagsbanan. Notify any food allergies no later than one week before the start of the course.

Practical information

We start from Viggbyholm. There is plenty of free parking on site and by public transport you can easily reach Viggbyholm by Roslagsbanan to Näsbypark.

If you have food allergies, diets, etc let us know no later than a week before the course.

Please note that food is included in the course except for a dinner eaten on some lovely archipelago nook.

We have sailing racks (sailing clothes), life jackets on board for everyone. There is also bedding - sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, pillows, duvets and even bath towels and towel for everyone.

Addendum:

  • Buy a pair of good sailing gloves, we sell our Sailstar sailing gloves on board the boat, you can pre-book them here
  • You can book your own cabin with a private toilet.
  • Buy our course book “Basics of Sailing, A Complete Guide to Sailing Certificates 1, 2 and 3" at a favorable price.
  • You can book an extra night on board, the night before, so it will be easier to plan your trip.
  • Add examination to take Sailing Certificate 1 during the last hour of the course.
