Basic course, sailing dinghy, 3 days

On our courses you sail an RS Zest dinghy, made of durable and unsinkable material. You can sail alone or with a partner, depending on participant numbers and preference, for a flexible and customizable experience.

Course Content

Our foundation courses over three days give you a comprehensive introduction to sailing. During the course you will learn how to sail a sailing dinghy with a focus on sailing and handling a sailing dinghy.

Prior knowledge

No prior knowledge is required, but participants must be able to swim 200 meters in open lake. Please note that dinghy sailing is a physical activity and requires you to be in good physical shape to make the most of the course.

Sailor Certificates

After completing the course, you will have the skills and knowledge to achieve the Sailing Certificate 1. To obtain the certificate itself, there is an additional fee to Sailstar (175: -) and a fee to the NFB (175: -) for obtaining the certificate itself.

Extra Workout

We offer evening trainings on Sailstar's smaller sailboats and sailing dinghies for anyone who has completed a basic course. These passes, which are booked separately, give you the opportunity to continue developing your sailing skills.
